Hofner AS360V Full size Violin Outfit
The AS-360-Violin outfit caters well for the advanced student, being designed to accommodate the technique required at a level of Grade 5 upwards.
A close, straight grained selected spruce table added to the highly flamed maple back and sides produces a very good tone. The instrument also features high quality synthetic core strings which add to the responsive nature of the instrument. The bow is a better quality than the lower models in the range, which aids the advanced bowing techniques required at a more advanced level. The fittings are ebony with the pegs and tailpiece styled on the traditional English 'Hill' pattern. The bridge is made by the French company 'Despiau' again adding to the tone of the instrument. This outfit includes a high quality bow, rosin and an oblong case which gives better protection to the instrument and more space for the accessories required at this level.
